Unique Venues of Manchester is an online platform for event planners to find or search for an alternative, unusual or unique venue for hire. For meetings, conferences, weddings, parties and events, Unique Venues of Manchester market a range of modern, contemporary, individual iconic and historic venues. To add another string to the bow, UVM Expo was developed to bring to life a community of event buyers and suppliers.
Client Objectives
  • Generate attendee sign-ups and therefore business opportunity for all venues and suppliers.
  • To bring valuable event buyers and decision makers together with venues and suppliers.
  • To generate a wider awareness of the Unique Venues of Manchester brand to venues and event professionals.
Strategic Approach

The Unique Venues of Manchester (UVM) Expo is designed to showcase the best places to host a wedding, awards show, private party or one-of-a-kind function in the North West. As such, we were asked to raise the first exhibition’s profile amongst the B2B community. Tempt Marketing were brought on board to boost sign-ups and build on UVM’s brand values. Our key audience was venues, suppliers, and the client’s other stakeholders.

  • Created and managed a social media schedule, as well as regular web content

Results
Overall UVM Expo was an extremly successful event, with attendance from a number of key event buyers and quality attendees, meaning that exhibitors were happy with the return of their exhibitor space.  Thanks to our research and targeted advertising, the event gained the momentum it deserved. With our flexible approach, we drove home a message that resounded across multiple platforms, finding people who had the most use for quirky, adaptable venues in the city and beyond.
