My Visit Vet

Launched in 2023, My Visit Vet offers a unique, low-stress alternative to traditional vets by bringing the clinic directly to pet owner’s homes, with a fully equipped veterinary van.

We were briefed on getting this new business in front of as many people as possible in Greater Manchester and Cheshire, generating brand awareness and new enquiries.

  • Generate coverage in consumer titles across target areas within Greater Manchester and Cheshire.
  • To build awareness of My Visit Vet amongst pet-loving potential customers.
  • To generate traffic to the website and ultimately direct enquiries for My Visit Vet services

Strategic

approach.

We divided this three-month PR campaign into two phases, to maximise coverage opportunities across multiple media outlets.

Initially, we crafted an announcement press release to showcase Founder Luke Anisworth’s journey and vision for launching My Visit Vet. We then pitched this to local and regional media, offering journalists the chance to try the service themselves.

Phase two involved creating a press pack for media, containing more information about My Visit Vet and a Q&A with Luke. Thoroughly researching and targeting journalists who had written about similar topics previously, we focussed primarily on the national press.

Our Results

We generated coverage in a variety of well-known local titles, including the Manchester Evening News, The Manc, and Cheshire Live. We also secured national coverage, including an interview in The Metro and a feature on ITV Granada Reports. This equated to approximately 136 million opportunities for My Visit Vet to be seen. The client was very happy with these results, which helped to boost brand awareness.
